SCAM ALERT
We have been notified of a continuing scam involving the rental of fake apartments. Specifically, an entity named Allen Paul is placing an ad on various websites for apartment 613 in the monthly amount of $1250 plus deposit. Hokua does not have an apartment 613 nor do we have any one bedrooms.
You should never send money via money gram to an unknown person. Unfortunately, the use of a money gram prevents the sender from cancelling the payment or receiving reimbursement. It also makes it almost impossible to catch the perpetrator.
Scams are on the rise and the best offense is a good defense. If you feel that an ad may be a scam, please contact our office at 808-692-0000 and we can verify if it is real or fake.
